SOMETHING TO TELL THE PEOPLE OF EDMONTON?

Karaoke drivers make me happy!

Just want to say thank you to all of the car karaoke singers out there!

STORY CONTINUES BELOW

Nothing changes my mood faster than noticing the driver next to me belting out a song.

Bonus mood points for the driving wheel drummers! It’s nice to see people enjoying life and being carefree!

  1. I love it too! One day my husband, daughter and I were singing our lungs out to Bohemian Rhapsody on one of the local stations and when the “head banging” part came on, the people in the car behind us were doing the same thing! Made us smile!

  2. Lol I’m 70 and still rocking to Bohemian Rhapsody and Walk This Way while I’m driving. People who catch me either give me a thumbs up or think I’m having a stroke and call 911

    1. Also I will totally admit that I just creeped your profile a little and you just seem like a really cool lady. I bet you’re fun at parties. Lol

  3. Love it! Years ago “Follow Me” by Uncle Cracker was on the radio and i was singing along and as I pulled up to the red light by Superstore on 51st Ave the guy in the car beside me was listening to the same radio station and we totally rocked out together for a few seconds until the light changed! It was awesome!

  4. My favorite thing ever is when I pull up at a red light singing my lungs out and I look over and the person next to me is doing the same. In that moment we are kindred spirits haha!

  5. Me and my friend years ago were overly singing to California dreaming from the mama’s and papa’s. We get to the red light still singing it loudly, we look over and an elderly couple were laughing at us. We just kept singing, it was great.

  6. Elvira came on the radio one day when myself and 3 coworkers were headed back to work after delivering some vehicles. The two of us in the front turned the music up, rolled the windows down and sang ourhearts out. I did some car dancing. The older coworker in the back seat turned his hearing aid off, while the other coworker laughingly begged us to stop. We rocked and and received some attention from other drivers. It is one of the best memories I have of those coworkers. Every time I think about it I smile. It makes me happy to think we may have made someone else smile!

  7. My kids sing along with me! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜‰ πŸ™‚ I belt out the songs like no one’s watching. I’m wondering if they will continue to sing or get embarrassed when they’re teenagers lol

Windows down…early evening…on the sidewalk was a jogger…residential area so we slowed down and kept up with him all the while singing loudly…eventually he raised his arms and sang with us..it was awesome
